Playing Warehouse for .edinburgh was not my first time in this venue, but first time with this booth arrangement. The sound was brutal, and it was technically for sure not the best set of my life. But I loved how close I was to the people on the dancefloor, and have exchanged so many smiles/bass faces with the front row crew
So grateful for these moments! I shall be back soon ❤️

Busy August both as a DJ and as a promoter. Last Friday I was back at the PLC People’s Leisure Club and it was amazing. I loved to play, but I also loved to dance to the music played by my fellow DJs 🌸 I do really enjoy the SOFT series, and I like that it is indeed soft, but also still, you know, perfectly within my taste! We've recorded the whole night, and you should expect the recordings soon on EPiKA SoundCloud. Including tracklists, of course :) Swipe to see me having fun behind the decks - there is joy in playing happy music (that techno not always is) for sure :)

And this facial expression is because there was a guy running through the dancefloor - not even on this picture, he was too fast - who elbowed me of his way without any acknowledgement. What was so urgent, I was wondering, in this tiny club? Anyway, I survived.

Me being me, I actually don't know how long I've been with Sisu, but I know it's been years. I met , who run Sisu at the time, via SoundCloud (yes, that really happens), at some point around 2019-2020. Had years when I was a full-on Sisu crew member with projects etc, and years where I barely had capacity to contribute, but I always loved the collective - enacting collective pressure to change the world. Isn't that cool.

Sisu changed last year with Sandy Beach and becoming directors. The team grew, roles were assigned, and step by step we are growing stronger, better, faster :) I've had the absolute pleasure to meet many of the team and am looking forward to meet the rest. Incredible humans, in so many different ways, and we are all... pushing. Pushing for change!

This year at Sisu, my contribution is to the education team led by , and doing some boring administrative tasks. Really proud of the collective and what we are becoming!

Here is a picture of me melting in Brighton last week. Absolutely not made for UK heatwaves - not sure hiw i have survived so many Polish summers. Had so much time playing for 𝙓-𝙏𝙖𝙥𝙚𝙨 and delivering a workshop/talk there. It was amazing. Short cool DJ video is on one of the slides :)

I'm here to tell you that I'm back at Kelburn Kelburn Garden Party this weeked. Swipe to see last time I played there - it was for sure the biggest festival crowd I've ever played for, and I was supporting James Holden, which was insane. Now I'm back, playing on Sunday with the and Hot Towel crews, playing just before Edinburgh legends Like This. I'll play more of a SOFT vibe, I think it belongs better in the castle :)

Also at Kelburn you can find EPiKA absolute beginner workshops! Fro, Say and Sun - I'll be teaching on Sunday, today it's .violet and tomorrow Nikki Guild DJ . These are drop in, just pop in the the Cabaret Tent at 5pm!

I don't know how about other DJs, but I usually go through phases of producer mini-obsessions. I have periods when I somehow dig a particular producer's sound, and play their tracks perhaps a bit too much. I definitely had a Norbak phase - so it's an absolute honour to be on the lineup with one of my producer heroes.
I love his music - slowly evolving and mind bending "stories", not just sequences of repeated sounds...

I'm opening, and if you know me, you know I love openings - for me the first slot is both the most challenging, and the most fun. Especially in a club with a single dancefloor, like , where the punters don't have a chill out room to seek rest. It's my job to lure them from the room corners onto the dancefloor.

Sooo excited to be sharing a lineup with these absolute titans of electronic music.
I'm old enough to remember The Prodigy getting famous - I was recording the No Good video on VHS from MTV. My aunt in a bigger city had MTV - we didn't have it in my tiny Polish village - and I would bring the VHS back to my village to scandalize other kids.

Don't really have words, but I'm so grateful to everyone whose support made this possible.❤️

Also great is to share the lineup with so many local faces :)
