🌿 The face of the buisness and how Crafty Little Flowers began…
I never really planned to start a floristry business. It all began with my mum.
She gave me £200 after talking about creating floral designs and started showing me how to make bouquets. I was learning from her, watching how she worked and slowly finding a love for creating flowers.
Then, just two weeks after I started, my mum passed away suddenly.
I was completely heartbroken and didn’t know what to do with myself. But somehow, floristry became something I could hold onto. Instead of giving up, I continued the journey I had started with her.
What began with £200 and my kitchen table, a few flowers and my mum teaching me how to arrange bouquets has grown into Crafty Little Flowers.
I’m also a mum of two, and building this business while raising my children has been a huge part of my journey. My family have been there behind the scenes too — helping me with jobs, installations, deliveries and whatever needs doing. It really has been a family effort at times. ❤️
I’ve built this business from absolutely nothing, learning along the way, taking every opportunity I could and putting everything I have into it.
Every bouquet, wedding, installation and display I create means something to me. There’s a little piece of where it all started in everything I do.
My mum gave me the start — and I’ve carried it forward.
From that first £200 to where Crafty Little Flowers is today, creating designs for the biggest brands and venues in the uk, Im very proud of myself.
Thank you to everyone who has supported me, my family and my little business along the way without you all it wouldn't be possible.
