When we first visited Roseburn Terrace over a year ago to scout out what is now Hordeum & Disposition, we went shopping for our dogs at House of Hound. Darren was his usual wonderful self and we left feeling optimistic about the area we would soon be a part of.

Darren has been a huge supporter of our store from day 1 and one of the best neighbours anyone could ask for. We’re selfishly heartbroken that he’s leaving BUT as we like to say, what’s for you won’t go by you and we’re happy Darren is getting to leave on his own terms 🥰

A little while ago, we were looking for a third store and Darren shared his news with us - we just so happened to be revamping our sister plant store Forge & Foliage into a pet-safe plant and dog shop, Bone fide

We’ve been working on a succession plan with Darren, we’re in the early stages of lease negotiations and hope that we’ll be able to continue HofH’s legacy in Roseburn with a fresh new look ♥️🐶🪴

Darren, we wish you all the success for your next chapter and we’ll absolutely make you proud 😘🐾

True to our wild, inspired-by-nature aesthetic, we’ve chosen eucalyptus, gypsophila and proteas for our fresh Valentine’s posies and bouquets this year.

All stems have been selected with preservability in mind and can be hung to dry and keep long after Valentine’s Day has passed.
