🍰💕Hi, I’m Erin, the face (and hands!) behind polarbakes.
My love for baking started in one of the most unexpected places — at sea! At the age of 17, I proudly joined the Royal Navy as a chef. It was on board those ships that I truly discovered my passion for cake baking and decorating.
I started creating cakes for my shipmates whenever there was a celebration, and before long, I became known across the galley and ship as “the cake maker.”
After completing my service in the Navy, I decided to follow that passion and bring it to life on land. That’s when Polarbakes was created.
crafting bespoke cakes and brownies from my home in Ebbw Vale, South Wales, with a collection point near Hereford.
Being part of people’s special days brings me so much joy — and I can’t wait to keep creating sweet memories, one cake and brownie at a time🍰💕
