The D.H. Lawrence Music Festival is a long day, so make sure you grab something to eat!

We want our festival to support the town, so therefore don't have any external traders, we just hope you visit some of the many fantatsic restaurants and cafes around the town.

We came up with a few we knew and ones recommended to us on local FB groups (of course we also got recommended a bunch nowhere near Eastwood)

Air Drawn Dagger are joining us for the first time at this years festival and we can't wait!

With such highlights as performing at Glastonbury Festival, being featured on Radio 1 and selling out headline shows at venues such as The Leadmill, these lot are sure to bring one hell of a show to the Old Wine Vaults.

If your into big Emo & Pop-Punk anthems then 8pm at The Old Wine Vaults is the place to be!

We're very pleased to have Lexi on this year for the first time at our festival!

lexi is a lively and upbeat performer with some wonderful original tunes and well known covers.

If there's anyone that'll get you singing and dancing it'll be Lexi, so pop by The Greenhouse Cafe & Bar at 8pm, grab one of their wonderful cocktails and have a boogy.

We're delighted to have SLACKRR on our lineup for the first time this year! Bringing their energetic pop-punk sound to our punk stage at the Three Tuns.

SLACKRR are potentially one of the hardest working bands in the UK, gigging on a almost daily basis, meaning theyve crafted a fantastic unmissable show.

The band have played such events as Isle Of Wight Festival, Rebellion, Manchester Punk Festival and so many more, we're ecstatic to be added ro their long long list.

A beautifully haunting vocal and a dreamy instrumental landscape if what artist Eva Cave will be bringing to our festival this year.

Eva has been smashing it the last few years playing sone great festival spots and opening spots on gigs across Nottingham venues.

If your looking for something a little more chilled out then Eva Cave is one to go and see, with a lovely cocktail at Mellers Mews!

🎶 ONE MONTH TO GO 🎵

We can't wait to be back in Eastwood with you all enjoying some incredible music in a bunch of fantastic pubs and bars!

Before the day remember to do these 3 things:

1. Click "Going" or "Interested" on the Facebook event so you get a reminder of the day and a notification for all our updates.

2. Go listen and save the official Spotify playlist so that you can discover some new music and must see acts for the day

3. Go check out the Clashfinder that features all our acts, their stages and their times and start planning your day (remember this may change, so don't print off yet, but we will keep it updated as soon as there are any changes).

🙂 Charity Volunteers Needed 🙂

As you all may be aware, we've worked with BlindEye the last few years. They are a fantastic and important charity, that aim to help the homelessness situation in Nottingham.

At the festival they will be running a raffle again at The Old Wine Vaults and will be walking around the venues to raise money with their buckets and card readers, and also to explain to those interested what they do and how you can help.

BlindEye require a few more volunteers this year to make the most of the day. Just someone for a few hours of the day that could help with the raffle or pip around the venues.

We are a free entry festival, so helping this charity raise as much money and awareness if important to us and if you could help out it would mean a lot.

🎸 Highlight Artist - Kooey 🥁

It's always a pleasure to have these lads onboard! Koeey have played the dog & parrot, D.H. Lawrence Museum, OWV inside and now outside!

The duo includes Myles Knight, Our host of the Museum stage, and Harvey Duddles, who is pretty much our resident drummer this year performing with Kooey, Concrete Rose and Kid Amelia on the day ... poor lad.

Notts based rock duo, Kooey, bring a huge sound to our small town, think Royal Blood, Deep Valley etc. These two are going to have you rocking out.

🎸 Highlight Artist - The Last Orders 🇬🇧

We thought we'd highlight some acts on our lineup in the build up to this years festival ... kciking off with The Last Orders.

This weekend The Last Orders smashed their set on the MAIN STAGE at this years Y Not Festival, so we are super lucky to have this rising local band headlining the stage at the Dog & Parrot: Real Ale House this year.

A indie rock band hailing from Derbyshire, the draw influence from such powerhouse acts as The Jam, The Libertines and Arctic Monkey, providing an engaging and electrifying set wherever they may play.
