❄️Closure dates over the festive period❄️

Our opening hours throughout the festive season will remain the same: Tuesday to Friday, 8am – 1pm.

We do, however, have a few dates when we will be closed. As you know, we're a small family-run business, and sometimes we need to set aside special family days — it goes with the territory! Please see closure dates below.

🎄We are also happy to announce some fun & festive news!🎄

Following the success of our free Christmas Day dinner last year, we're doing it all again this year! If you know anyone who would appreciate some company on Christmas Day, along with a delicious free three-course meal, please get in touch with Ellie as soon as possible to reserve a place.

We received such generous support for this event last year, and we were so thankful for that. Happily, thanks to all your support throughout the past year and a super busy summer season, we're able to cover everything ourselves this time around. So if you know someone who'd like to join us — all they need to bring is themselves!

Happy one year to the Wee Thistle!🥂🎊

It's been a long and sometimes brutal journey with many hiccups and early mistakes along the way. You never learn quicker than when you're a business-owner!

We've made it past our first year and I am extremely proud of all the hard work that has gone into my wee cafè and how my vision from last year has really come into effect.

If I were to pass on advice to any other fledgling cafè business it would be this:
• Stick to your plan and don't be swayed by what others are doing,
• Establish a loyal customer-base as quickly as you can,
• Give the customer exactly what they want,
• Not everyone is around to help, some intentionally hinder.

And finally -- Don't be too scared to just go for it! You only ever regret the decisions you don't take✨️

Thanks to everyone who has helped me along the way and a very warm & grateful 'thanks' to our wonderful customers for keeping us going and continuing to support us.

October is one of my favourite months of the year and to celebrate coming into autumn, I've made white chocolate cookie bowls with cinnamon & stem ginger soaked apples, drenched in a thick caramel sauce - autumn flavours are just the best!

I've been super busy this week, so until now I haven't had a chance to fill up the cake counter but I've been baking my bum off all day today and I've got a tasty selection for you all😋👇
