It's all about the yellows this week, from beautifully scented daffs to frilly blousy double daffs to my first blooming tulips....there's nothing better to bright a day up!!

If you fancy a few hours away from it all with like minded folk in a beautiful setting (overlooking Duncliffe woods), then I am offeing a Spring Bouquet making workshop in my cosy Shepherds hut on the morning of Saturday 6th April. You will learn how to arrange a gorgeous Spring Bouquet from freshly picked flowers from the plot, including some gorgeous speciality tulips (including peony like ones!!). Start time is 10.00am, ending around 12.30pm and will include a short tour of the plot weather permitting.
Price is £45, which includes all materials, refreshments and home made cake!!).

This was the end floral result from that wedding balcony decoration...full of lushous greenery including ferns, ivy and trailing passion flower foliage. Flowers included pale pink astile, perennial statice, white lisianthus, and smoke bush fluffiness - with the stars of the show being plot grown hydrangea Annabelle and trailing green amaranthus!!

It was definately worth the effort!!
