I honestly can’t put into words how much it means to me to be a Regional Finalist in the Wedding Industry Awards. ❤️
Behind this little business is a mum of two boys, a full-time job in education and a dream that I’ve worked incredibly hard to build alongside everything else life throws at you.
Building your own business is never easy, especially when you’re juggling work, family and all the doubts that come with putting yourself out there. There have definitely been days where I’ve wondered if I can really make this work but I’ve kept going, kept learning and kept pushing myself even on the days when it would have been easier to give up.
My following might not be in the thousands yet but I know I’m heading in the right direction. Every person who follows me, recommends me, books with me or simply cheers me on means more than they’ll ever know.
I wouldn’t be here without the amazing people around me who believe in me and encourage me when I need it most.
To be recognised alongside so many talented people in the wedding industry is something I’m genuinely so proud of. I really do want this. Not because of the title or the recognition but because I know how much work has gone into getting here. There have been a lot of early mornings, late nights and sacrifices along the way and to have that recognised would mean more to me than I can probably put into words.
For now I’m just incredibly grateful to be here and very proud of how far I’ve come. 🤍
