And the big newsā¦
Yep, Iāve bought a van!
What many of you donāt know, is that this year, there have been huge changes in my life and I have found myself in a completely different place than I was at the beginning of this year. I left a job after a decade, Iāve started a business, I ended a long relationship and Iāve sold a house. I left a life. Iām not going to lie itās been a complete emotional rollercoaster as Iām sure many of you understand. But with support from my utterly incredible friends, family and of course therapist, I now have a completely different life and I donāt know what itās going to bring me but Iām excited about it.
Dreams are things that a lot of people think are never achievable but someone once said to me, āwhatās the point in having dreams if you canāt make them a realityā.
There has always been one thing that I have dreamed of doing and the world, I have found, is going more and more this way. I have always wanted to live a more nomadic way of life and take a different route to what the ānormā is. Well, my dream of living van life has finally come true!
This isnāt just any old van though, this is Puff (the magic wagon). Not named by me but by the wonderful .and.alice who converted him from scratch and then lived in him off grid for 2 years with their dog Freddie and travelled around Europe and the UK. They now have a larger van and more dogs. They sold this van 5 months ago and very sadly for him, the owner needed to sell it quickly. So, Puff, is going to have a new lease of life with me and my 4 legged friend and anyone who wants to come and visit us! We will be doing tours and a nice hot bath will always be welcomeā¦ š¬šš¼
Iām not really sure how this is going to work and I donāt really know what Iām doing, but it doesnāt matter! I will work it out! Right now though, for me, life is about taking chances, having experiences Iāve never had before and following dreams. Determination (others might call it stubbornness) definitely helps as well š
Therefore, I introduce to you the newest member of the family, Puff (the magic wagon). Poppy and I thoroughly look forward to sharing our journeys with you.
