Some bright and spicy yellows for a charity prize a couple of weeks back.
🌼💛🌼
Pom-pom chrysanthemums, with the round form repeated by small yellow Craspedia heads.
Supplemented by scented stock and scented freesias, and some quirky foliage.
Presented in a reusable ceramic trough....💛

I was lucky enough to be at this year's RHS Chelsea Flower Show, just during the past week.
Some of the items on display were incredible !
Also a lot of credit must go to the designers who worked on Chelsea in Bloom, where shop-fronts around Sloan Square & Kings Road were festooned with remarkable displays of floral ingenuity 👌

🪾🏵 Flower Festival - SAFAS 70th Anniversary, Dunfermline Abbey🏵🍂

I'm so excited to be involved in the above event this May (8th & 9th) where a small group of us from Busby Flower Club are staging one of the exhibits in the incredible backdrop of Dunfermline Abbey.
This is to commemorate the 70th Anniversary of the Scottish Association of Flower Arrangement Societies, and is based on a theme entitled "Nostalgia", which includes some exhibits showcasing Scottish writers/ literature.
Our entry will be "Harry Potter" and is now a far way through the design stage.
I'm really fortunate to be working with some very talented and experienced ladies, one of whom is a Chelsea Flower Show medal-winner, no less ! 😲🏅
If you're in or near the area over those dates, feel free to drop by - there is no entry fee 🧙‍♂️✨️
