The secrets out!!

A couple of summers ago I filmed an episode of A Place in the Sun with the very gorgeous on Lefkada island Greece. A holiday location I have visited every year since the kids were born. It’s become like a second home and I would love to continue the journey with a more permanent holiday home.

I hadn’t planned to film this show, but sometimes things happen for a reason and life takes you on little adventures. I’m blaming train strikes and my dear friend Mandi for this one. It was the most fantastic week and I look forward to sharing more with you in the future.

Creating Couture

A magical experience, having your dream wedding dress made to measure and fitted to perfection. There’s nothing quite like it.

It’s a magical and very personal experience. From the first design consultation looking at styles, fit and fabric. To the final try on of the completed dress and hand crafted veil. The overall journey takes around six months with almost monthly fittings you will see your dress come together before your eyes. No need for alterations, your dress will fit you like nothing else as it’s been individually cut to your own unique pattern.

Behind the scenes and very small and highly skilled team of professionals craft your dress from the first cut of fabric to the final stitch every dress is made in our Sussex Atelier.

We work with a limited number of brides for the year. This is because the work is very labour intensive and Emma has very high standards of fit and finish. Our 2025 diary is now filling up and we only have a few peak season dates available to work with brides. So don’t delay your couture journey and reserve your wedding dress dreams today.

The journey:

1. Design consultation
2. Measurements and fabric selection
3. Calico Toile (may require a second fitting)
4. Corset fitting (if a corset is required)
5. First silk fitting (may require a second silk fitting)
6. Styling appointment to select veils and accessories
7. Final try on of completed dress
8. Dress collection

Veils. Along with the beautiful bespoke dresses we also create bespoke veils. Murphy chose a delicate guipure lace scattered with sequins edging a cathedral length veil.

Today we turn 22!

I can’t believe it’s been 22 years since I opened the doors to my beautiful West Sussex based boutique and atelier. Still going strong and still living the dream. Here’s to the next 22 years.
