I honestly can say I’ve never had such a wonderful and more excitable reaction to me putting a bride in a wedding gown that fitted beautifully and was everything she described when we chatted about her vision for her wedding at Hardwick Hall Hotel.

Michelle and her Auntie visited after Michelle had been dress shopping with her bridesmaids but hadn’t quite found the one. I also knew instantly which dress to try Michelle in, a gorgeous Romantica Collections gown and the reaction from them both was why I do what I do! Her Auntie was so elated that she almost screamed the shop down and there were tears from Michelle. It was everything, she looked absolutely stunning! It made my day…

Well that was that, she said Yes to the Dress there and then! Congratulations Michelle and welcome to The Bridal Affair family 💕

Well Ladies, I’ve had the most incredible week with the most gorgeous brides and all their lovely family and friends… where do I start?

Of course with the gorgeous Zoe and her Mum that came to see me looking for a specific type of gown for her wedding in Cyprus next year. She was having any luck at any other boutique but after a little discussion about her wedding plans there was one dress that I couldn’t get out of my head from Eva Lendel | Wedding dresses and after trying it on, looking sensational, Zoe fell head over heels in love with her and she truly knew it was her dream dress.

There was a resounding Yes to the Dress and my work was done! Only one dream and one gown 💭

What can I say about the lovely Nichola… she was just the most wonderful lady who travelled a long way to see me at the weekend with her friend after seeing a dress on social media that came from my boutique.

Although she had found a gorgeous dress closer to home she just had to travel to see what I had to offer and guess what after having a full discussion about support, dress structures and designs, she tried on the most perfect gown and Nichola looked incredible and she just knew straight away that this was her dress. She was blown away and she said Yes to the Dress, a stunning Phoenix Gowns. I’m so happy she took the time to come and see me and WOW I can’t wait to see her photos from the wedding next year at The Old Cow Shed in Melton Mowbray.
