So I just decided to google…(like I do randomly 😊)
“Why people like flowers?”
💐Beauty and colour: Humans are naturally drawn to bright colours and symmetry. Flowers often have patterns, shapes, and scents that feel pleasing and calming.
💐Positive emotions: Flowers are associated with good experiences — celebrations, romance, springtime, gifts, and care. Seeing them can trigger feelings of happiness or comfort.
💐Connection to nature: Flowers signal growth, life, and healthy environments. Some researchers think humans evolved to enjoy landscapes with blooming plants because they hinted at food and fertile land.
💐Fragrance: Many flowers produce scents that people find relaxing or uplifting.
💐Symbolism: Different flowers carry meanings — love, remembrance, friendship, hope, mourning, or celebration — which gives them emotional importance.
💐Creativity and variety: There are hundreds of thousands of flower species, each with unique forms and colors, so people enjoy collecting, gardening, arranging, or photographing them.
💐Stress reduction: Studies suggest flowers and plants can reduce stress and improve mood, which is why people often keep them in homes, hospitals, and workplaces.
I have always loved that smell of when you walk into a florists…the mixture of florals and foliage, it has to be my favourite smell in the world. Being able to create arrangements and designs with such delicate and beautiful things it’s one of the best feelings. Yes it can be stressful, but it’s a different kind of “stressful”….one that can’t be described, the one that makes everything worth it 🥰 and this is the reason I adore what I do. 🥰
