All of us at Stone Valley Festival are saddened to hear of the passing of Mike Peters from The Alarm. A big favourite here at SVF, Mike will be missed and our thoughts go out to his family, friends and band mates at this difficult time

Everyone at Stone Valley is saddened hearing of the passing of Brian James, founding member of The Damned. Our thoughts go out to his friends and family at this difficult time

Brian James, founding guitarist in The Damned, died on Thursday, just a few weeks after his 70th birthday.

IN A GALAXY NOT TOO FAR AWAY (Well, County Durham & Hertfordshire) STONE VALLEY FESTIVAL is coming!! After amazing festivals in 2013,14,15,16,17, and 18, we know 2019 is going to be a year to remember as not only are we looking forward to SVF 7 in Stanhope, Co. Durham, we are also taking this great event down south to Hertfordshire for a second year of SVF SOUTH! ‘

Bands appearing at SVF North on 28th and 29th June 2019 include The Selecter, Undertones, Neville Staple Band, Bad Manners, The Dualers, Secret Affair, The Rezillos, The Truth and many more. Down at SVF South on 24th to 26th May 2019 we’ve got From the Jam, Cast, Peter Hook and The Light, Neville Staple Band, Geno Washington, Secret Affair, The Vapors, Chords UK, and loads more top bands.

Two great SVF events, Two great locations, lots of great music, and a great time to be had along the way. If you’ve been before you’ll know what SVF is all about – a festival experience like no other.

Both events, although at opposite ends of the country, take place in beautiful rural settings, with completely secure areas for campers and only a stones throw away from the local villages.
