There are some moments in business that make you stop and realise just how far you’ve come… 🤍

Today, during the school holidays, I was sat with my little man and he started looking through the photos on my phone. We went right back to the days when we moved into our bigger Blue Bow store.

There they were… the children, so little, helping us clean, tidy, unpack and build this little dream of ours. Just being part of it all. 🥹

And suddenly, looking at those pictures, I felt a little emotional.

Because when you’re building a small, family-run business, your family really does become part of it. They see the long days, the busy weekends, the sacrifices, the late nights and all the things that people don’t always see behind the scenes.

And then you blink… and those tiny children who were running around the shop are suddenly not so tiny anymore.

I think that’s one of the funny things about working so hard to build a future for your children — you can become so consumed with creating that future that you sometimes forget to stop and notice how quickly they’re growing up right alongside you. ❤️

But honestly… I wouldn’t change a thing.

Because Blue Bow isn’t just beautiful dresses, amazing brides and those unforgettable YES TO THE DRESS moments.

It’s our family.

It’s memories.

It’s watching your children grow up knowing what hard work looks like.

It’s hearing your son talk about his memories of Blue Bow and hearing how proud he sounds when he tells people about what his mummy does.

And THAT makes me prouder than I could ever put into words.

Ten years of Blue Bow.
Ten years of dreams, challenges, laughter, tears, incredible brides and the most amazing memories.

Small business life isn’t always easy. There are sacrifices that come with it that only those who live it truly understand.

But it is SO rewarding.

And when I look back and see it all through my child’s eyes… I realise just how much more we’ve built than a business.

We’ve built something our children have been able to be part of.

Something they remember.

Something they’re proud of.

Something that, I hope, they’ll look back on one day and say…

“That was our Blue Bow.” 🤍

And for that, I’ll always be incredibly grateful.

10 years. So many memories. And so many more YES moments still to come. 🥂🤍

💙 Holly, you’re officially a Blue Bow Bride… 💙

This one is close to our hearts guys 🩵 For a little while now, we’ve been following Holly’s journey The Land of Holly and honestly, her story has touched all of our hearts here at Blue Bow.

The strength this girl shows, alongside her incredible family, through everything she has faced is nothing short of amazing. Holly takes every challenge head-on with so much courage, positivity and determination, and she is truly an inspiration. 🩷

When Holly recently shared one of our posts featuring one of our absolute favourite dresses, something just clicked for us. We knew we wanted to do something special for her.
