A busy bank holiday weekend & a hot one in the kitchen 🥵🥵.

One of my bookings this weekend was an open door event for family to celebrate their m**s 80th birthday, upon arrival I was greeted by the family and the birthday girl herself, standing there looking very glamorous at 80 with her birthday sash.

Once I was ready to leave I asked if she had any other plans, she was heading to Bubbles and Bites Champagne and Cocktail Bar for a pina colada 🍹( or 2) this made me smile for the rest of the weekend 😊

A buffet recently done for a lovely man 🤍who sadly is no longer with us. Being close family friends, I knew just what the family wanted with them given me very little ideas to work with other than no hot dogs or cheese, a must was carrot cake and maybe something hot, today I received this message to my inbox, so happy the family were happy with the food & service they received.

Absolutely grafted my backside off this week, 6 buffets in 4 days & managing to juggle everyday life with hurdles in the way.

I’ve also received a lot of tags & mentions lately, recommendations when people are asking about catering, I am forever grateful for this, thank you so much 😊

Glowing reviews as always which makes everything worthwhile.

Apologies for being so quiet lately, I need 48 hours in a day at the minute.

I spent yesterday afternoon catching up on bookings and confirming orders, if I have missed you please send another message while I have my diary out.

Please can I state that I don’t have the time to be constantly messaging for out standing balances to be paid, the criteria is stated when booking catering, if the remaining balance is not paid when due your booking will not go ahead.

I hope you all enjoy the rest of your weekend ( my day has been terrible, the joys of following football )

At the weekend I was asked to do catering that had several dietary requirements:-

⭐️ Vegan
⭐️ Dairy
⭐️ Vegetarian

The buffet consisted of hot beef sandwiches & roast potatoes, I had to cover all of the above which is something new to me, I normally only get one requirement not three at the same time 🙈.

Fair to say I’m proud of this glowing review, it was a challenge however I smashed it 👍👍.

The function was held Hunwick WMC we’ve had a few events here now so as a promotion I’m working with the club to offer a 10% discount on your catering if booked at the club.

After a crazy December I was more than ready for some much needed time off, the diary was closed & I enjoyed my me time & self care.

I did respond to messages that were sent (I think) and my 2026 diary is open with bookings already.

This year I have some dates blocked out due to a lot of family celebrations however this does not affect the bookings already in the diary.

Moving forward please remember that if you enquire about a date and no deposit is made to secure the date then if somebody else asks about a date it’s first come first served. There will also be a slight change in the price structure however this is only for new bookings & does not imply to existing bookings already in the diary.

I hope you all have had a lovely Christmas & a happy new year, I’m certainly ready to go again and get some normality back.

And that’s a wrap for us with buffets, a very challenging year for me, a year I never really want to experience again, however I’m still standing & doing my very best to move forward.

I’ve finished the year on a high, experiencing the most busiest month I have ever had with buffets & catering but so rewarding when I have satisfied customers & glowing reviews.

All made possible by all the likes, shares & mentions which keeps me going, I am forever grateful to each & every one of you.

My diary is now officially closed until 2026, time for me to spend some quality time with my loved ones.
