Exciting news… Pub Theology will be restarting on Tuesday evenings at the Station House in Durham 8-9.30pm

Just popping on to introduce ourselves…
We are Rachel and Scott the hosts of ‘Pub Theology’ a Bible study group based in Durham who meet regularly at the Station House pub in Durham City centre on week nights. We are part of a family centred, Jesus following, spirit filled faith community who are passionate about making Jesus the centre of our lives in very practical ways and reaching people who have never read the Bible but would like to try it out!

We host Bible Studies using the Bible Discovery Study format which has been used all over the world in places like Iran and Africa where established ‘church’ going can be tricky…

If you’d like to come along and see what it’s all about please DM, or if your interested in starting a Bible Study in your local pub please also get in touch and we can help you host your own gathering 🍺📙🍺

Looking forward to catching up again after the summer! Meeting for drinks on Tuesday September 6th at the Duke of Wellington 8pm -9.30pm and reading Romans 10 : 5-15 to start the new term off!

Fun dog + prayer walk up the river this morning stopping at Castle Maiden Cafe on our return which is a lovely cafe that is very dog friendly. We enjoyed our Costa coffee and also got complimentary bacon butties and a sausage for Willow, and a dog bowl with water for her to drink. We then met the Zambian Commonwealth Athletic team who are currently using the University training facilities and were stopping for lunch in the cafe. What a lovely bunch of young people ❤️

Thinking about how the University is on mission to raise up leaders that help change the world which is definitely very much needed in this season. Thinking about how mission of Jesus is also to help change the world, to bring good news to the poor, the broken and the oppressed. Jesus inspired the extraordinary! I feel inspired today.
