Looking for a memorable way to start your Taste Dunoon weekend? 🚢

On Friday 24th July, the iconic Waverley paddle steamer (Waverley Excursions) will be sailing from Glasgow to Dunoon, arriving just in time for a weekend of food, drink and festival fun.

Why not leave the car behind, enjoy a journey on the world's last seagoing paddle steamer, and make a weekend of it?

Then spend Saturday and Sunday exploring Taste Dunoon, with food and drink producers, street food, live demos, tastings, workshops and fringe events taking place across the town.

This Monday 1st June, Anselmo's marks 50 years of serving up fish and chips in the town, and they’re celebrating with a special one-day offer.

And just like that…Dunoon TradFest is the final stop on the Peat & Diesel UK Tour 2026!

After dates across the UK, the tour wraps up right here in Dunoon on Saturday 26th September at Queen’s Hall for the Dunoon TradFest Grand Festival Concert.

Joining Peat & Diesel on the night will be the hugely talented Calum MacPhail and local favourites The Ramstampits, making this an incredible way to round off the tour.

A packed hall, a huge atmosphere and the final night of the tour right here in Dunoon…this is going to be special.

🍸 Meet the makers behind The Inventor's Gin Co. Ltd, stallholders at Taste Dunoon!

Husband and wife team Andrea and Steven Lockhart do everything themselves, from sourcing botanicals and distilling the gin to bottling, sealing and labelling each bottle by hand.

Their commitment to genuine small-scale production has even earned them the “Actually Made In” certification, independently verifying that the gin is truly made by them, from home, just as they describe.

You’ll be able to meet the team and sample their gin at their stall during this summer’s Taste Dunoon Food & Drink Festival on 25th & 26th July.

The event team are currently looking for marshals and radio crews to help make the rally happen across 19th and 20th June.

No previous experience? No problem! There are lots of different roles available both on and off the stages, and full guidance will be provided for anyone keen to get involved.

Experience the rally from the inside and be part of one of Cowal’s biggest events of the year. 🏁
