Wreckspeditions invite you to hop aboard their Starfish Enterprise and take a tour Doon the Watter. 🧭Relive days gone by with stories and images of Paddlesteamers and Clyde puffers that visited the piers along Dunoon’s beautiful coastline, all from the comfort of you own chartered boat! As well as stunning scenery, its not uncommon for porpoises or seals to also accompany you past Gantocks lighthouse and around West Bay.

As well as arguably being the prettiest season in Dunoon, we think its also the best for speciality coffees, like a tirimisu Mocha, or a pumpkin pie cream Latte. Where can you get these incredible sounding beverages you ask? Coast Coffee, right next to the pier! And we can guarentee they taste just as incredible! Why not treat yourself to a hand-warming hot drink next time you go past? Or for the brrrrrrrave, try an iced drink like their iced sticky toffee latte!

Fancy a giggle? Fred Macauley can provide!

Coming to Dunoon Burgh Hall next Friday (16th October), Fred Macauley’s show “GOOD EVENING” is sure to enthrall, having gone down to rave reviews at Edinburgh Fringe 2026. Touching on subjects like grandchildren, current affairs and his various celebrity appearances (don’t call him a celebrity though!), Fred said this of his upcoming gig: “I really hope that a lot of people come out to see this tour. I think it’s the best show I’ve done since the last one.”

What to do in Dunoon: Holy Loch Nature Reserve 🌳

Holy Loch Nature Reserve is 24 acres of stunning Celtic rainforest, with over 3,000 species of wildlife just north of Sandbank, a mere 10 minute drive from central Dunoon. With wildlife hides and trails to walk its a brilliant place to spend a day, you might even be treated to a sighting of this little fella! 🪶

Whats more there’s a fantastic coffee shop there too - Holy Loch Coffee Shop , open daily from 10am-3pm. What more could you ask for? ☕️

What a night this was! 🎶🔥

Peat & Diesel took over Queen’s Hall for our sold-out Dunoon TradFest Grand Festival Concert, bringing an incredible atmosphere to Dunoon for the final stop of their 2026 UK tour.

A performance we won’t be forgetting anytime soon.

If you’ve still not had your Trad fill at Dunoon TradFest last week, get yourself down to Queens Hall on Saturday 10th October to see Mànran’s high-energy performance joined by Beluga Lagoon, the musical project of wildlife photographer Andrew O’Donnell. The combination of his atmospheric songs and Mànran’s unmistakable sound is sure to be an evening to remember!
