Likes and followers play a role in today’s world, yet the true essence of bridal seamstress work lives far away from flat digital screens.
I honour my skills myself — because they were earned, lived, and carried with me through every chapter of my life.
I measure my journey through the gowns I’ve touched, the brides I’ve supported, and the years of quiet dedication behind my craft.

It is important for me to remind myself of my values — just as every person who works with passion must do.
My craft has travelled with me across countries, studios, and seasons of life — stitched into every fitting and every heartfelt moment shared with a bride.

More than a decade ago, I spent a beautiful chapter in a family‑run bridal shop in London. That place shaped my hands and my heart, filling me with inspiration and memories that still guide my work today.

For many years, my sewing room existed outside the spotlight of social media. Seamstresses created in silence, with care and intention, and I completed countless bridal alterations in that same spirit — private, meaningful, and deeply trusted moments shared only between a bride and her seamstress.

My craft lives in my hands, my memories, and the women I’ve supported throughout my life. Every stitch carries the story of experience that travels with me wherever I go.

A heartfelt thank‑you to my bride for sharing her beautiful wedding‑day photos — it truly means so much to see my work living its story on your special day.

Serving a little 1950s revival with a Scottish twist — now brought to life on a beautiful April wedding day in Germany.

This bespoke tartan bolero and detachable train were originally designed to complement a rare vintage ivory gown and to stand proudly beside the groom’s kilt.
Seeing them again months later, woven into a German celebration filled with joy, colour, and heritage, feels like the story has come full circle.

A German couple who fell in love with the romance of Scottish tartan…
A 1950s silhouette making its modern comeback…
And a handcrafted bolero that travelled from my Dunfermline studio all the way to their wedding aisle abroad.

It’s moments like this that remind me why I do what I do — tailoring that carries memory, meaning, and a little bit of Scotland wherever it goes.

Every small choice counts. Every saved garment matters.
And every transformation is a reminder that style doesn’t need to cost the planet.

From forgotten pieces to a fresh new favourite.
This skirt began life as a pair of New Look denim shorts from the 2017–18 collection — and denim, as we know, is one of the most water‑intensive textiles on the planet. A single pair of jeans can require up to 7,000–10,000 litres of water to produce. That’s why giving denim a second life matters more than ever.

To build the length and movement the client wanted, I combined the shorts with fabric from a back‑dated dress found in a charity shop — a piece from the Distress Collection with no clear year, but full of potential. Both garments had a similar silver‑flecked finish, so the blend feels intentional, modern, and beautifully cohesive.

Instead of sending two unloved items to landfill, we created one unique, wearable, future‑proof piece.
This is the heart of sustainable fashion:

• Reworking existing garments
• Reducing textile waste
• Honouring materials already in circulation
• Designing with creativity instead of consumption
