Ik ben Ewoud Baeckelandt,
Ik ben al een tijdje bezig onder de dj naam: 'Dj Woodland'
Het begon bij verzamelen van Vinylplaten en na een paar jaar begon ik me steeds meer te verdiepen in Hip-Hop, Funk, Soul, Breaks enz. Met mijn platencollectie heb ik me twee draaitafels aangeschaft en een mixer. Sindsdien draai ik geregeld op feestjes van vrienden en kleine evenementen. Daarnaast post ik regelmat

ig eens een mixtape online met Groovy nummers. Mijn benadering van dj'ing is zeer basic: vinylplaten, draaitafels en een mixer. Geïnspireerd door blockparties van de jaren 70' breng ik telkens een blend tussen verschillende genres in mijn dj sets. Hoofdzakelijk draai ik Funk, Soul, Boogie, Hip-Hop, Jazz en ook Disco. Een warm-up set, afterparty, ... maakt niet uit. Ik probeer mijn best te doen om de luisteraar te laten kennismaken met een gevarieerd palet van Groovy, dansbare nummers. Ik merk dat mensen eens iets anders willen horen dan commerciële muziek die gedraaid word in de clubs.
