5Star Sport is a rugby and hockey sports provider including Easter and Summer camps and private Coaching Sessions. We provide a fantastic opportunity for boys and girls of all abilities aged 8-16 to develop their all round game ahead of a new season. There will be a focus on individual skills and game situation training, with training specifically tailored to the needs of each individual, all deli

vered by some of the best coaches in Scotland. There will also be the unique opportunity for the players to have their progress monitored during the week with video analysis and there will be special guest appearances from current and former internationals throughout. Our only requirements are that the player wants to improve and, above all, enjoy their rugby and hockey

🎉 What an incredible final day at 5Star! 🎉

The campers brought their very best to the afternoon games, showcasing all they've learned this week and rounding off camp with amazing energy, smiles, and teamwork. 🤩

🏆The end-of-camp presentation was a fantastic celebration of everyone's efforts, achievements, and outstanding attitudes. 👏A huge thank you to every single player, parent, and coach who made this week so special. Day 3 at 5Star is sometimes a bit of a challenge; after two full days running around in the sun☀️ tiredness certainly starts to creep in! 😉 However, spirits soared today thanks to two very special guests: Olympian 🇬🇧🏑Charlotte Watson and the ever-popular Frankie and his ice cream van 😆🍦.

Despite their very different roles, Charlotte and Frankie both showed our campers how important it is to interact warmly and genuinely with people, 😊inspiring everyone with their positivity and kindness.

🌟 Final day tomorrow, and it's shaping up to be a cracker! 🌟

🔔We kick off our games at 3:30 pm, with the eagerly awaited end-of-camp presentation 🏆at 4:00 pm. We can't wait to celebrate and get everyone involved! 🥳See you there!💥

Another absolute stonker of a day at 5Star! 🌟

This afternoon, we were lucky enough to be joined by GB 🇬🇧 Rugby 7s star Kaleem Barretto 🇬🇧 who brought his energy and insight to our young athletes. While he’s currently sidelined with an injury, Kaleem's attitude is as inspiring as ever and we’ve no doubt he’ll be back on the pitch in no time. In the meantime, we’re beyond grateful he’s using his recovery to help inspire the next generation of sporting stars. 💪🏉

👏Speaking of legends - a huge shoutout to our very own Coach Colin Sangster. This camp marks his 20th with 5Star, and we can’t thank him enough for everything he brings. Colin has been here since the beginning, and countless kids have benefited from his deep knowledge, passion, and love for the game. You're a 5Star legend, Colin! 🙌

And tomorrow? Well… it’s shaping up to be one of the most exciting days in 5Star history. Not only is the sun set to shine, we’ve got a current 🇬🇧Olympian Charlotte Watson coaching at our hockey camp 😮🏑 — and the ice cream van will be making a sweet appearance in the afternoon! 🍦🎶

💥 It was an inspiring day at 5Star as we had the current 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿Scotland men’s 🏉rugby player Grant Gilchrist and Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿women’s rugby player Shona Campbell for Coaching and Q&A. Shona also plays rugby 7’s for Great Britain. 🇬🇧

💥 What came across more than anything is that even whilst playing sport at the highest level, you still have to enjoy it! Do not let the fear of making mistakes hold you back!

💥It was also clear that even playing sport at the elite level, you still have the same emotions as you do at school. It is how you manage your emotions that makes the difference between the good and the great!

🎂It’s the final day tomorrow and we always like to finish with a bang! You will be delighted to know my mum is back with her delicious cakes, along with coffees ☕️ and teas from 3:15pm. Games will KO at 3:30pm, with end of camp presentation at 4:00pm! 🏆

What were we saying yesterday about smiles on faces….today was a day FILLED with Sport 🏉 🏑, Sunshine ☀️ and Smiles 😊

It was topped off by a visit from Frankie and his ice cream 🍦 van - it did not disappoint.

💥Tomorrow is an ATTACK focus for hockey and rugby, which is always an exciting day for all our 5Star players. It gives them the opportunity to try new skills and go out and express themselves with no fear of making mistakes.

👏Bring on tomorrow and early night tonight! 😴

What a fantastic couple of days in Kinross last week to finish our 5Star Easter camps off in style!

🏉🤩We always love coming to Kinross, where you always get a warm welcome and the best ham sandwiches (thanks🙏 Rab Allan) They are a great bunch of players and it has been fantastic to see them develop over the last few years. 👏
The new clubhouse is also looking superb!🥳

Next up is our MAY MASTERCLASS series which provide the chance in small group settings every Monday in May to really accelerate and hone your 🏉 skills.

👏👏👏👏🏑What an amazing 3 days at our 5Star Easter Hockey and Rugby Camps in Dundee.

There was rain again ☔️today but it did not dampen the spirits. All the players were amazing throughout and made the most of all the coaching expertise and energy, which makes it all worthwhile! 🙏
