This sunrise over Kilchurn Castle on the shores of Loch Awe was one of those unforgettable mornings, with golden light breaking over the mountains and mist drifting across the landscape.

Morning over Loch Laggan. 🌄🏔️

One of Scotland’s most impressive views from the air, looking across the iconic Laggan Dam as the first light catches the Highlands. The scale of this place is incredible, and seeing it from above really puts it into perspective.

Working in Oban today on a commercial drone photography and video project. 🚁📸

The weather couldn’t have been much better, so I grabbed a few extra aerial shots of some of Oban’s most iconic views – McCaig’s Tower, the CalMac ferry heading out to the islands, and the harbour looking spectacular with the Clipper Race yachts in port.

First stop on the Highland tour, before continuing on to Fort William, Inverness, Inveraray and the Isle of Jura.

Days like this make all the travelling worthwhile. ☀️

Some days the weather, the light and the scenery all come together perfectly.

A trip through Glencoe and the Highlands today delivered some incredible views, with sunshine lighting up the lochs, mountains and villages in every direction. Scotland really does know how to put on a show when the weather plays ball.

From sweeping loch views to dramatic mountain backdrops, it’s easy to forget you’re working when the scenery looks like this.
