I’m back at Falside Mill this Saturday, and I’ve been thinking about Anna & Michael's wedding last year.

It was one of those weddings where everything came together just right — thoughtful details, a lovely couple with a clear vision, and flower theme that really felt like them.

When we arrived at Balbirnie this morning, it was a hive of activity in the ballroom. A truly hands-on event with the family members ironing decorative linens, fabrics were being hand sewn to add finishing touches and embroidered napkins folded. Every little detail had been considered for this very special 80th birthday celebration, right down to the fragrant pastel arrangements we created for the tables.
