Funerals are inevitably sad but they are also a time to reflect, and that reflection can be truly beautiful.

Earlier in the week we had the honour of carrying out a funeral service at Roucan Loch Crematorium's Woodland Burial ground.

The exquisite grounds hosted a gathering of those who had loved a wonderful soul. Fiona Bryant Humanist Celebrant crafted the most wholesome service & Kevin McNulty provided the soundtrack to a beautiful, peaceful reflection & farewell. It was a service, and a story, that touched the hearts of all who attended.

At D.G. Lockhart Funeral Directors we’re all about connection and what’s nicer than a mother & son duo? Here’s Adam, our casual funeral operative, pictured with his mum, one of our lovely celebrants, Fiona Bryant. Both wearing a touch of colour to coincide with family wishes. 💜

Adam has been part of our support team since December and has fit perfectly into our wee team. His role includes preparing the vehicles, driving the fleet, assisting on funerals, bringing people into our care and assisting to care for them at Cuddy-lane.

Both Adam and Fiona are a pleasure to work alongside. A little family, with a lot of heart.
