Jack Meakin (Liverpool), graduate in sound production and studying a masters in sound engineering. With 7 years experience DJing House and Techno under his belt, he founded Scaramouche as an underground rave company in 2017, and teamed up with Seb to bring the brand into the clubs of Liverpool. Prior to Scaramouche as a solo DJ, Jack had performed across the North West playing Techno and House at many events such as Orbion, After Party, and Mono to name a few. Stylistically brings high energy, big sounds with tribal influences and percussive beats.
Seb James (Liverpool/Huddersfield), a graduate in music and approaching 25 years experience in production and DJing. Starting initially in DnB and Hip Hop in the early 00’s, and after university transitioning to Trance and Techno. A multi-instrumentalist, Seb’s compositional and theoretical background have combined with Jack’s expertise in sound design, engineering and mastering to create releases together since 2018.
Together, their varied backgrounds, skills and experiences coming together has created a proven track record at events that include 5 Creamfields performances, and regular Ibiza closing weekend parties. With a style that fits both Trance and Techno, Scaramouche has a versatility and adaptability that has enabled success from, clubs and terraces, to arenas and festivals.
