Current view in my study ❤️ I’m busy making lists and planning what new flower seeds to order for summer bountifulness. Since weddings are still unconfirmed as to whether they’ll be permitted, and what they may look like (in terms of numbers of guests) if they are I’ve made the decision to grow flowers for Friday deliveries again! I loved it so much last year; working so closely alongside Mother Nature, watching the seasons change from week to week, connecting to the soil, nurturing the seeds into full bloom and using them to spread love & cheerfulness to everyone I delivered them to. As most of you know, I used to have a flower growing field in Hampshire, so growing flowers is truly in my blood, and makes my soul SO happy. Usually I just grow flowers to be used in the weddings I do, which means they’re mostly delicate & floaty, and in pastel colours - plus a LOAD of white. But now that I’m growing for weekly bunches - I can buy seeds in more bold, punchy colours (like Sunflowers YAY!) The more bonkers and bright to lift the spirits the better right?! Sitting here, infront of beautiful painting of a bouquet of flowers I’d grown last May/June reminds me of all the beauty of what’s to come. The warm sunshine will return. The bees will begin humming again. Soon we can sit and watch butterflies move from one bloom to the next. And we’ll all be able to drink in the nectar, the heart tonic, the pure honey that nature offers to us 💫
