Exmoor Studios, the mini theatre which used to be the Bank in Dulverton, is part of an emotional fundraising event happening this Friday, 1 April, at 6pm.

Two local folk are getting all their hair (head!!) removed. Sarah Gatehouse, Dulverton's florist at Naturally Fleurish has a particularly nasty cancer and, having had radical surgery, is undergoing chemo, radio and hormone therapies starting three days later. The hirsute Farren Broomfield, her partner, is joining her in the challenge. From 6pm on Friday they are going to pre-empt Sarah's inevitable hair loss and be totally shorn, in Exmoor Studios, raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support and Musgrove Park Hospital. They have particularly fine hair including Farren's beard. Two local hairdressers from Dulverton’s own 'Hows the Hair’, 'Bodmin House' and Isis Wellbeing and Skin Care will be performing the miracles.

We wish the couple every success with their fundraiser and brave Sarah lots of luck with her treatment.

As some of you may already know, I have recently been diagnosed with breast cancer, so my shop will now be shut for the duration until I am able to return fighting fit!! Wishing all my lovely customers a peaceful, healthy & Happy Christmas.. thank you for your continued support, in what has been a challenging year. The first year my thumbs have survived without cracks!! I am truly amazed & humbled by the support of the Dulverton & local community. Best place I've ever lived ❤
Spritza & I are now switching off for a few weeks to enjoy some us, family time.

Personally, I now have to face my own challenges & look forward to reopening in the spring of 2022. Love Sarah 😘🤗

Happy second birthday to Naturally Fleurish.. 💐🥳
I had no idea if my little dream was going to work or not ... so after opening in November 2019 , four months before covid 19 hit the world , it has certainlybeen more than a challenge... I have had some hilarious fun times. Created more unique, personal bouquets, floral arrangements , weddings & sympathy tributes for & to the local folk. But most of all, I am so glad I listened to my intuition, turned left at those crossroads near Molland & through circumstance plonked myself wholeheartedly in Dulverton, only previously knowing one person, Jane Brimblecombe, who sadly has passed to the better place. I have managed to continue trading, move shops, sold my car to buy a delivery van & keep relatively sane!!
Over the last 2 years I have met some beautiful kind, sincere people , made lifelong friends & would not wish to live anywhere else. The local community have embraced me, my creativity & I would like to thank each & everyone of you who have supported me. I hope to continue!!!Thank you. Sarah 🤗💐😘
