☀️💛 Keeping Children Safe & Cool in the Hot Weather 💛☀️

With temperatures rising, here are some simple ways parents can help keep little ones safe, cool and happy during the heat 🌡️👶

💧 Encourage regular drinks of water throughout the day
🧴 Apply sun cream often — especially after water play or sweating
🧢 Use hats and lightweight, loose-fitting clothing
🌳 Stay in the shade during the hottest part of the day
🍉 Offer cool snacks like fruit, yoghurt or ice lollies
💦 Water play is a great way to cool down and have fun
🏠 Keep bedrooms and living spaces cool with curtains closed during peak heat
🚗 Never leave children in parked cars, even for a few minutes
