Black Country Multicultural Day

Black Country Multicultural Day Multicultural day is to show how the Black Country has become culturally diverse in recent years. In 2024 we will return to Halesowen.

Multicultural day is to show how the people of the Black Country have become cultural diverse in recent years. We know that there has been a significant rise of different ethnic mix who have moved into the Black Country since the industrial revolution. Multicultural Day is about making friends with people from different backgrounds and life experiences and to learn about their values and also to p

romote their own beliefs in the spirit of peace and harmony. This event will kindle local civic pride and confidence and has the potential to improve the economic environmental and social well-being of the Black Country residents. We would like to demonstrate the Black Country’s vibrant colourful past, present and future and the different backgrounds that have settled over the years and has made the Black Country as vibrant as it is today. Black Country Multicultural Day 2024 will be the fourth event following the success of the last 3 years in Dudley Town Centre and Halesowen. This event will bring people from the boroughs of Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall and Wolverhampton to come together into the heart of the Black Country to celebrate how diverse these borough's have become. Multicultural Day is about promoting understanding within our communities. We would like to celebrate our diversity and to ensure the Black Country has a positive reputation nationally and internationally. Want our services email: [email protected]

It's very sad that someone is making a decision without letting people know first hand.

Who ever it is they should give answers. You can't sell off something that is not yours without consultations. It's classed as fraud and deception and they hoped Friends of Netherton Park would look the other way.

Help Save Netherton Park - Petition

Please support the Friends of Netherton Park and stop the disposal (sale) of a park land.

We have created this e-Petition as a quick and simple way to voice your objection.

Please click this link that follows to view your e-Petition.

It only takes a minute to add your name, email and address. (email and address are kept confidential and only visible to administrators) We would be so grateful.

You don't have long! The e-Petition closes on Friday 29th May.

If the Friends group loses access to this land the Fun Day and the continuation of our group is seriously under threat.

Thanks

Heat 5 is heading to Tipton and we cannot wait to see what local talent comes through the doors at Gospel Oak Sports Centre.

After four fantastic heats so far, Black Country You’ve Got Talent 2026 now moves to:

Friday 29th May 2026
Gospel Oak Sports Centre
Bilston Road, Tipton, DY4 0BZ

Doors Open: 7.00pm
Show Starts: 7.30pm
Entry Fee: £2.00

We are also delighted to welcome our Heat 5 judges Justyna Kordala and Rosslynne Lewis.

Justyna is passionate about supporting local people, creativity, and community projects across the Black Country and always brings encouragement and positivity to performers taking to the stage.

Rosslynne Lewis returns again this year after being part of Black Country You’ve Got Talent previously and certainly knows talent when she sees it. Rosslynne has always been supportive of giving local people opportunities and helping build confidence within the community.

This heat is proudly sponsored by Clarity Homecare West Bromwich, whose support is helping us continue creating opportunities for local talent and bringing communities together through music and entertainment.

We also want to thank Black Country Radio and pirate.com for their continued support of Black Country Food Bank

The standard so far has honestly been unbelievable, with every heat bringing amazing singers, performers, entertainers, and personalities to the stage. The judges have repeatedly said how difficult it has been choosing winners because of the talent coming through the competition.

One winner from Heat 5 will secure their place in the Grand Final on Friday 10th July 2026 at Spring Meadow Sports And Social Club Entertainment Page .

Also remember that monies raised from the competition are going towards Black Country Foodbank paying it forward to give back to those who need support within our communities.

Tipton… it is your turn now. Let’s see who steps up to the microphone next.

Heat 4 at The Hasbury Club certainly brought the talent last Friday night.

We had 9 auditionees take to the stage for Black Country You’ve Got Talent 2026 and every single one of them made an impact with the judges. The standard was fantastic throughout the evening, with some brilliant performances, confidence, personality and entertainment on show.

One contestant in particular gave everyone chills and rightly so. Heat 4 winner Charisma certainly lived up to her name and brought the full package to the stage.

Judges Alex Ballinger MP Bargains With Josh and Phil McCahill - Halesowen McCahill all agreed that she deserved her place in the Grand Final.

Congratulations Charisma. We will see you in the Final on Friday 10th July at Spring Meadow Sports And Social Club Entertainment Page Old Hill.

A massive well done to all of the auditionees who took part. You were awesome and should all be proud of yourselves for getting up on stage and performing.

Thank You to our sponsor Clarity HomeCare West Bromwich.

Next stop… Heat 5.
