As X-Con draws closer, we thought we should post up a few short guidelines regarding Cosplay. We have a wonderful group of Midlands based Cosplayers joining us from Central Legion and Central Legion Darkside.

This is all about consent and mutual respect and safety for everyone involved with X-Con. if someone says no, it means no.

If you want to engage with a Cosplayer
- Please ask permission first for photos.
- Do not handle props or costume without permission to do so.
- Do not ask for inappropriate photos.

In turn Cosplayers will not:

- Use threatening behaviour or contact even if in character.
- Chase or jump scare.
- Carry projectile weapons of any kind.
- Ensure that all fake blood is dried and unlikely to stick / stain others.
- Not carry any prop or replica that can be used as an offensive weapon. Prop fi****ms must have a red or orange tip and be easily identifiable.
- Be respectful of all people at all times.

Let’s have some fun! 💥
