King George V Sports Association Working with local authorities to improve the sporting facilities for all organisations, ages and sports clubs in the community.

KING GEORGE V SPORTS COMMUNITY INTEREST COMPANY LTD

The company currently comprises of four of the towns football and hockey sports clubs and currently has a director’s board of 6 people. It is intended that other sports clubs and local organisations will be welcomed as associate members in the future. The initial aim is to work with the District Council and replace the Astro pitch behind the spo

rts centre and to have at least one 3G football pitch built which most of the surrounding towns already have. Due to the increased usage this will create we intend to raise the funds to refurbish the pavilion and changing rooms and create a function room that can be used for all organisations and can then be used as a centre by the whole community. Moving forward support will be provided to the sporting community with coaching development, improved equipment where possible and the continuation of improving local facilities for all sporting clubs and activities in the area.
