Looking for a special event space? The Lakehouse at Dodderhill may be the perfect venue…
Available from 1st May 2021- 31st August 2021, the Lakehouse at Dodderhill is a purpose built room perfect for special events and celebrations. The main floor area is approximately 60x30m with separate male, female and disabled toilets and also a shower room. The Lakehouse also has a small kitchen for food prep and sinks. Also, there is a stocked bar and outside BBQ area. The whole venue overlooks the beautiful lake and grounds, throw open the doors, let the outside in and really make the most of this stunning space.
We really want you to enjoy your special occasion and are happy to supply you with round tables and chairs which comfortably seat 100 people, and these are of course included in the hire price.
Table Linen and chair covers are not supplied nor is tableware or cutlery and you are expected to supply your own food and decorations, but we can of course help you with a list of trusted suppliers for this should you need it.
The Bi-fold doors must be closed by 11pm in respect for our neighbours, and we ask for all the guests to have vacated the premises by 12 midnight at the very latest. Unfortunately we cannot authorise firework displays here due to issues concerning animal welfare, specifically the welfare of our horses and dogs.
Should your guests wish to stay here for the evening, we also hire out the field in front of the house for which you will need to supply your own tents and/or caravans, please see the details below.
We suggest a viewing of the Lakehouse in the first instance and require a non-refundable deposit of £200 to secure your special date, this deposit will contribute to your final balance. We also request a deposit of £200 to cover any breakages of window glass, fixtures and clean-up which is fully refundable after a satisfactory next day inspection by us.
Full Weekend hire from 12 noon Friday until 5pm Sunday is £1000
This allows ample time for your set-up and clean-up.
2 Day hire from 9am Saturday until 12 noon Sunday is £500
This allows for set-up and use on Saturday and also clean-up on Sunday.
Saturday only hire is available from 9am until Midnight and is £400
You will be responsible for the clean-up of the venue before midnight.
Clean-up of the venue by us is charged at £150
Guest caravans and tents are charged at £7pn

The Fields
Are you looking for a field space to host your own special event? Here at Dodderhill we have 2 fields for hire, the first surrounds our beautiful lake and the second is larger and has a more private feel. Both of the fields have access to water but do not have any electricity. We have hosted marquee wedding receptions here as well as 2 day dog showing events and are frequented by the caravanning and camping club.
Field hire has plentiful parking and gated access and is charged at £500 for Friday-Sunday Weekend hire.
Extra days are available at £100 per day.
