First wedding of the season, and what a fabulous day it’s been!

Selection of canapés with a drinks reception (completely forgot to take photos!)

Starter was either a seafood plate, which comprised of homemade Gravlax of salmon, smoked mackerel pate with pickled cucumber and tiger prawns with a lemon and dill dressing
Or
Goat’s cheese and beetroot terrine

For main course we served deconstructed beef wellington or aubergine parmigiana

And dessert was an Assiette of tart au citron, chocolate brownie and vanilla panacotta , followed by cheese and biscuits and coffee…..
And to top it all, the sun never stopped shining!

It’s been another busy week…..

A Retirement buffet, serving a selection of sandwiches, savoury items and sweet delights

Luncheon for Driffield Ladies, serving rich cottage pie with potato wedges and a selection of fresh vegetables, followed by lemon pudding with cream

Finally, last night we catered for a wonderful party of family and friends celebrating a special birthday.
We started with some smoked salmon canapé’s, then chicken liver pâté & melba toast, followed by med-rare roast sirloin of beef with dauphinoise potatoes and finishing with an assiette of dessert, which consisted of warm pear and almond tart, warm chocolate brownie with ganache and berries and a rosemary and white chocolate panna cotta with poached strawberries
