This month marked 10 years since Finnebrogue Woods opened as a wedding venue... in that time we've seen amazing set ups in the Tipis, met wonderful couples, worked with the best people and had a lot of fun amidst all the hard work!

Summer Camp Memories 🌿☀️

Our Bushcraft Summer Camp has come to an end for another year, and what a couple of weeks we've had! We’ve loved welcoming this year’s campers and watching them learn, explore and grow while making plenty of memories along the way.

From mastering practical skills like fire lighting and shelter building to following their curiosity, building confidence and independence, and discovering more about the natural world around them, every day brought a new adventure. 🌲🔥

Although summer camp is over for another year, there’s still plenty happening for young explorers in the Woods.

🌿 Forest School returns in September for all ages from pre pre to P7
🎃 Halloween Camp runs 28th-31st October. Bookings open next week!

We’ll be welcoming our Bushcraft Summer Camp campers for two sessions of woodland fun, learning essential bushcraft skills and making unforgettable memories. ☀️

Wild Cooking - Green Fire 🔥🌿

Our wild cooking courses with Chef Rory Gorman have been so popular, we’re adding a brand-new experience to the lineup!

Green Fire is a day exploring the ancient practice of cooking over open flames, with a focus on vegetables & fruits to showcase the magic of open fire cooking for vegetarians.

Learn how to build the right fire for different cooking styles, discover traditional techniques using ashes, embers, and hanging over the flames, and cook alongside the chef in the heart of the woodland.

Finish the day by enjoying a delicious wild-cooked lunch created by the group and the chef.
