It's back! We are planning on doing another Green Fayre in Newton Stewart in partnership with our friends Galloway and Southern Ayrshire Unesco Biosphere to showcase some of the amazing sustainable initiatives that are happening in Newton Stewart and the area around it! There will be stalls selling sustainable local goods, interest groups showcasing what they are doing and advising on how you can help to make our local area a better place. So if you you are interested in supporting local producers and crafters, looking for something new to do or to get involved in or just simply want to learn more about sustainability then McMillan Hall, Newton Stewart on the 22nd of July between 10-2 is the place to be! It isn't a subject that anyone likes to spend too much time thinking about but you can trust us at Dunskey Guest House to organise a funeral reception which means you have one less thing to worry about on such an emotional day 💔

We will ensure that all of your guests are greeted with the warmest of welcomes & are made to feel comfortable throughout the day/evening.

Funeral Teas (standard & personalised) / Buffets / Sit Down Meals are what we can offer your guests - prices will vary depending on what you are looking for
(prices start from £20pp).
We seat 30 people comfortably indoors - our outdoor seating offers another 30 seats (this is weather dependent)

Over the past year it has been my privilege to help create ceremonies, and memories, for some amazing people. Each has been individual, sometimes inspiring, but always special.

Roucan Loch Crematorium are holding a very special outdoor Christmas Memorial Service "Carols in the Forest" featuring Dumfries Town Band on Wednesday 21st December at 6pm. Tickets are free and available on a first come first served basis from the Roucan Loch Office, Three Crowns Court, Dumfries, DG11HU. Please note this is an outdoor service in The Forest of Remembrance. No seating is provided and suitable clothing and lanterns are recommended. In the event of adverse weather please consult the Roucan Loch website for updates.
