My wedding at Walhampton this past weekend made me think back to a shoot last year at the school. While the building’s history is lengthy, weddings are only their infancy and I look forward to creating more flowers in this nostalgic space. Beautiful shots by my photographer friend, Dom - he’s pretty good, ya know!

Anyone who knows me, knows that colour is my jam, so when Amy from sent me the mood board for this shoot, I was instantly in. Taking inspiration from the collection of Grand Tour buildings , we were inspired by distant lands and I love the end result! The golden tones against the Roman Temple are EVERYTHING 💛 Looking forward to catching up with this bunch again in October for the

So it’s time for one of those new year introduction posts where, as a florist, you pose really falsely with flowers over your shoulder (I never carry them like this) or in a floaty dress leaning over a dining table adjusting a leaf that was totally fine as it was. Sorry, not sorry, but that isn’t me as a florist. You’ll mostly find me with this guy closely behind me, defo in jeans with scissors poking holes through the pockets, hair a fading shade of pink or purple and fresh-faced with no time for brand shoot make up as I’ve been up since 4am to load the van. I’m a slogger, an all or nothing, grubby finger nails florist and unapologetically real. If you’re looking for a florist for your wedding this year or beyond, choose one who spends time creating the most awesome designs ever, not fluffing about on instagram

Reliving the summer with one of my faves. Katy and Dom put their total trust in me and this is the end result! We started with a nudey palette but things because more summery with the peach and pink additions. For me, it’s the pop of cerise that makes it 👌🏻 Captured by the brilliant

Evening soirées don’t get much better than this! Reigniting that Pylewell eccentricity that we all know and love, fruit, veg and flowers come together for this dark and moody shindig! Working alongside the Secret Stylist, I had an absolute blast getting creative with cauliflowers, plums and aubergines. Love it or hate it, it’s a conversation starter at least! So my summer season has come to an end. There are no more weddings in the diary for 2025, which is odd as normally I have bookings right through to the end of October… Not gonna lie, this year has been TOUGH. The Covid gap is well and truly here and I’ve not had this few weddings in a year since 2017. I’ve thought a lot about whether this is a me thing, but I’m reassured it’s industry-wide. Regardless, the self doubt is still always there. So finishing early this year is a good thing. It’s time to reset. To re-evaluate. To decide where I want to take my business. I want to keep being a florist - it’s what I love, but I’m looking for stuff out of the ordinary in 2026 and beyond, so future clients, do your worst. Whatever I do though, I want to keep making clients happy 😊 smiles here caught by
