What are you having for your ceremony backdrop? Be sure to choose something that frames you beautifully as you say your “I do’s”. Big installations are an investment but you can repurpose most of then and reuse them at your wedding breakfast. I’m forever advising my couples to make the flowers work hard for their money!

An outdoor ceremony set up at Sopley Lake working alongside to bring the floral aspects B&J wedding vision to life. A gorgeous and serene setting in amongst the trees and overlooking the lake. An idyllic location. Great to see and too. Another perk of working at this venue is the fresh coffee and almond croissants from the bakery on site . January is always a busy month for funerals. Creating tributes for your lost loved ones is an honour. I love hearing about the type of person they were and what their favourite flowers were. I love seeing how your face lights up when you’re telling me about them and reliving fond memories of bygone times. A floral tribute is the last gift you will give them. I have four funerals this week and it was so cold in my studio last night that I moved in to work on the kitchen island. I was up late creating and thinking about the people whose flowers I was making. The one thing about floristry is everything I am ever asked to make is an expression of someone’s love and that to me is wonderful.
