In this case, the answer was an equipment delivery- within an hour of the requirement being identified. Being called a saviour by one of the organisers counts as gratitude to us into the circumstances

Someone put baby in the corner!
Well, the boss put himself in the corner - as it’s an annual awards dinner and the screen and winners should be the centre of attention.
Great to be back at one of our favourite places to play for Mr Wolfe Productions (blue and yellow early doors as these reflect the colours of the uplighters elsewhere in the room, and our lights to white as a stage light for the presentations).

We’ve also been on shows for Mr Wolfe Productions . Highlights include Production build crew, sound tech and DJing for Sewell’s awards do and after party at Hull Minster.
And Setup and DJ for Abba Tribute night at DoubleTree by Hilton Hull (as well as their staff party, always a pleasure to be trusted by the team there).

We got our DJ, sound and light hats on for Kpop time The Old School House and Court Yard too (with a spot of lighting and system tech work to get their courtyard ready around this). Enthusiastic dancing by the youngsters, and a great show by the organisers

You may have seen that earlier this year we were at the Wedding Fayre. Always lovely to see the team there, and meet with fellow suppliers (we highly recommend customised beverages from our friends The Engine Shed Brewery 😋 ). Of course we brought some twinkly lights, and a spot of music, including uplighters along to add some complimentary colour wash to their Ceremony setup and themed Breakfast. We also know for a fact these photos helped sell the idea of uplighting to a couple recently.

We’ve got a few dates booked in here this year, and look forward to being back 💍 💃 🕺

We’ve had a few things on this year (boy it’s flying fast) but we have to talk about last night.

Abby and Keelan’s reception was a great night. Lots of dancing, lovely people, and thanks to the team here for making things as easy as we could ask for.
Our uplighting was booked too, in purple, so even from outside the colour transformation was visible (which the team here complimented us on).

January (and tonight in particular) seems to be birthday party season 🥳 We’re mid covering a 50th birthday at Jack Rabbit Slims. Before we go on to collect a stage from DoubleTree by Hilton Hull (that’s also being used for a 50th birthday) for Mr Wolfe .

To all our clients and contractors, we hope you all had a Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year. It was nice to have a few days off after silly season, before seeing in 2026 in at The National,Hull and having a great time with their regulars - watch out for more details of our next event there.
