The Pen*stone Show is back — and this year’s timetable is absolutely packed! 🐑🌸🍰

From livestock and show jumping to homecraft, handicraft, and horticulture competitions, there’s something for everyone. Enjoy cookery demos, the biggest egg show ever, rural crafts, local artists, retail therapy, live music, and bars across the field. Plus the magnificent shires. 🥚🎶🍻

🌾✨ The 2025 Pen*stone Agricultural Show is back and it’s shaping up to be an incredible day out for all the family! 🎉

This year’s show will be brimming with entertainment, competitions, demonstrations and activities. You’ll find:
🐑 A huge array of livestock competitions
🐴 A variety of equestrian classes from cheeky Shetlands to gentle giants
🚜 Impressive farm machinery displays
🍳 Food demonstrations from talented chefs
🧵 Handicraft, homecraft & horticulture competitions
🎶 Live music & entertainment
🍻 Bustling bars & food stalls
🐕 The always-popular dog show
🚗 Beautiful vintage vehicles
🛍️ Craft stalls, rural crafts & trade stands

And of course… Bao House will be there! 🌸
We’ll be serving up your favourites — fluffy bao, comforting donburi, crispy gyoza & homemade deep fried onigiri — all from our little cherry blossom house on wheels. 🍜🥟🍙

📅 Bao House – September Calendar 📅

We know we’re a little late dropping this month’s schedule (sorry folks! 🙈) but here it is in full.
We've had a fantastic weekend at Rotherham Show, we were amazed at the chock-a-block programme they run whilst keeping it completely free entry - we'll be sure to have our names down for 2026!

✨ Mon 1st – The Red Hart, Blyth (5–8pm)
Thanks for coming! It was great to see so many familiar faces!

✨ Tues 2nd – Sykehouse Village Hall (5–8pm)
A huge thank you to our friends (and family!) who came out and enjoyed our food – we loved cooking for you.

✨ Fri 5th – North & South Wheatley Village Hall (5–8pm)
We’re returning for the Meet the Neighbours evening – always a lovely community event!

✨ Sat & Sun 6th–7th – Rotherham Show (11–5pm, Clifton Park)
FREE entry! 🙌 The largest free show in the North of England with live entertainment, stalls, funfair rides, and (of course) bao. A brilliant day out for all the family – We loved it!

✨ Tues 9th – The Royal Oak, Barrow-upon-Humber (5–8pm)
A brand new venue for us – we can’t wait to meet everyone and share our bao with you!

✨Thurs 11th - Beer Haus Cafe Bar , Wath-upon-Dearne (6-8:30pm)
We're back supplying the brain food for Quiz night!

✨ Sat 13th – Pen*stone Agricultural Show
We were there last year and we’re so excited to be back! 🎉 A proper Yorkshire agricultural show with livestock, crafts, food stalls, and entertainment – a big day out worth making the trip for.

✨ Sun–Thurs 18th – Cheeky Holiday!
Bao House goes international 🌞 …a few days off in the Costa Blanca before we’re back to bao business!

Baos for Bramley – don’t miss it!

The bar’s open 🍺 come rain or shine – support your fantastic local volunteer-run village hall.

Our monthly return! We love visiting this picturesque village-on-the-hill😋

Another brand new venue for us – can’t wait to get started here!

New addition to the calendar - we'll be back in Crowle to round off September!

🎉 It’s the North’s biggest FREE entry cultural show 🙌 taking place in the beautiful Clifton Park. Expect two packed days of:
