Rana’s Indian Grill House
A fabulous meal here last night. Great service and incredibly tasty food. Lamb biryani soooo good 😋. Lamb Jalfrezi and the Bream mains all delicious. Surroundings beautiful and air conditioning very welcome 😰
To say it was the second day of opening they have it sorted. I wish them luck and hope the high standards continue as they have set the bar high!

I haven’t posted in a very long time! Not because I’m not incredibly busy but because I find posting reminds people and provokes bookings and I’m trying(!) to wind down a little bit. I have been so incredibly lucky to have such loyal and wonderful customers who keep coming back! THANK YOU!

I started Food for Friends after being made redundant from a job I loved and my passion for cooking and being creative found an outlet which I have also loved!

I am a single person business and have survived the impact of Covid, rising food and energy costs and tried hard to continue to offer tasty offerings and value for money. I’m proud of my little business and grateful to all my lovely customers who put their trust in me for their celebrations.
BUT….
I have decided that Food for Friends will close on 31/12/25 and I am taking no new bookings until then as I have a manageable diary. I look forward to spending more time with my four beautiful grandchildren and maybe even travelling a bit whilst I still can!

Weekend dates are getting booked up quickly and I have just disappointed someone who wanted a party in June! If you are thinking of a celebration in 2025 please don’t wait to secure your date.

I had the honour to cater for her gorgeous son’s christening in her beautifully decorated garden on Sunday! Choices from my bespoke menus meant there was something for everyone to enjoy!
I’m currently booking into late October/November and would recommend getting any special dates booked quickly 😍

An honour to be asked to provide the food for Cate & Matt’s Wedding Celebration. They had a Pizza Truck serving endless pizza and I did the picky bits to go alongside including a salad table (oops- no photos 🤦‍♀️).
