🤍 PLEASE EXCUSE OUR APPEARANCE! 🤍

Our shop is going to look a little different for the next couple of weeks 😢

Sadly, we’ve had a second break-in at around 5am this morning, which has caused extensive damage to our front door and left the building unsecure, so we’ve had to board it up temporarily while we wait for a replacement.

Please don’t worry — ALL of our beautiful dresses are completely safe and sound. 🤍

The only damage we can see this time is to the door (and, if we’re honest, our morale 🫠!).

Just to reassure everyone following the previous incident, the cash that was stolen was a very small amount belonging to the girls who work here. We affectionately called it our Treats & Tampax Tin 😂 — it was used to top up sanitary supplies in the bathroom and for the occasional staff treat, including our favourite Christmas brunch ❤️ We're guessing this morning was an attempt to find more of the same but there was nothing to be found this time.

We are actually closed this week for our planned holiday anyway, so thankfully this won’t affect our current bookings. Anyone who has an appointment coming up with us will be contacted beforehand and we will make all necessary arrangements depending on the timetable for the new door being fitted. ❤️

We also want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who sent such lovely messages and showed us so much support after the first break-in. We really did appreciate every single one.

Two break-ins in such a short space of time has been incredibly upsetting , but we’ll get everything sorted and back to normal as fast as we can. 🤍

It’s time for a little break! 💕 Both It’s Bliss Bridal Outlet and The Prom Shop Doncaster are now closed while our team enjoys some well-earned rest. 🥂☀️

📅 We’ll be closed until Wednesday 2nd September and will be back open as normal from then.

All messages, enquiries and appointment requests will be picked up when we return — so please bear with us while we switch off and recharge! 💌

After a difficult few days, we’re pleased to say that we will be OPEN AS NORMAL FROM TOMORROW MORNING AT 9:30AM. ❤️

We can’t thank everyone enough for the messages with kind words and support we’ve received since the break-in. It has meant more than you know. ❤️

For all our lovely customers who have dresses with us — please don’t worry, all dresses are safe and sound! 🤍

We totally understand if you'd prefer to come collect your dress for peace of mind, a few brides have already asked so please just drop us a message or call 01302 390019 and we’ll get this arranged for you.

Things are tough enough for small businesses at the minute, so the last few days have been incredibly difficult and stressful. There’s only three of us here at our little family business, but we’ll get through it together — especially with all your incredible support. ❤️

🚨 URGENT UPDATE 🚨

We are absolutely devastated to say that our business has been broken into overnight.

As a result, we have had to close with immediate effect today while the police investigate and we deal with the damage.

💔 We are so sorry to anyone who has appointments with us today. We have tried to contact everyone and will keep trying but wanted to make the closure public as soon as possible.

Please bear with us while we get everything sorted, and we’d really appreciate you sharing this post to help us reach our customers. We aim to be back up and running for Wednesday as normal.
