Our beautiful rescued girl Smiler took a journey over rainbow bridge on Tuesday. We have both had dogs all our lives and although they are all special and unique in their own way…smiler was the first dog we adopted together and then became a special mum to our other rescue, Archie our deaf, disabled dog. She was just lovely 🥰
We are understandably heartbroken but will be ever so grateful for the amazing ten years we were privileged to spend with her.
A poem for you my girl, (only took me ten times to record) 😢…run and leap free with all the other doggo’s and see you on the other side 💕🌈

From flower farm to garden again… the beginning of the process

Spring is a great time to cut back and divide perennials if you haven’t done it in autumn

This is the first stage of moving all my plants and shrubs from the straight cutting beds of my original flower farm and replanting them to make my garden look stunning! 🤩

Although I’m not making or selling wreaths this year I do have to give my foliage a bit of an autumn/winter trim so I have some buckets of mixed foliage (predominantly eucalyptus) for sale at £25 a bucket and bunch’s of mixed eucalyptus at £15 a bunch
Eucalyptus is also great for drying and hanging in your shower for a lovely steam scent.

I’m open this weekend as part of the Epworth Open gardens, the event runs Saturday and Sunday 10am to 4pm and has lots of wonderful gardens to walk round… I have flowers obviously but cake too!

Absolute epic bit of driveway restoration by Liam and Aidan of LA Restoration. I wish I had a before pic because the lads worked really hard on this as grass and weeds had seeded in every crack and joint. It looks like a completely new drive and I can’t stop saying ‘wow’ when I go out 😂

I don’t know who invented block paving but I reckon they are now making a killing selling weedkiller for those suckers that thought it was a great idea! 😂

The lads used nothing but water and true yorkshire grit! Spot on!

Are you mad??

I do hope so… why not join me to celebrate British Flowers Week where we will go down the rabbit hole in an Alice in Wonderland themed workshop.

Creat floral brilliance in a quirky ceramic teapot display using beautifully scented British Flowers, there will be lots of other fun surprises and a gloriously delicious afternoon tea! How splendid!
