Luna Creations

Luna Creations I am a resin artist based in Norfolk England , creating unique pieces of artwork/ accessories and keepsake memorial items using real flowers ash and hair

From a very young age ive had a passion for art in all aspects, just being creative and putting my thoughts into paints/drawings and colour, however as a teenager art left me, it was no longer something that captured me due to personal circumstances. My 4 children however did get my passion for art and creativity and this reflected from myself into there hearts, now at the age of 35 my children ha

ve grown and so have I and ive started to bring my inner child out again! Im a very spiritual person and take advantage of the relaxing and meditative state being creative can bring. My art and insights are very much of nature, our universe and the mystical sides of life, I love colour in all forms of life and this shows with my pieces. I really hope you enjoy my take on art and this world and enjoy my collections.

Watching a memorial piece come out of the mould never gets old. 💜

Every petal tells a story, and it’s such an honour to preserve these precious flowers forever.

This little bird is made using real memorial flowers, carefully preserved in resin to create a lasting keepsake. 🕊️🌸

Which detail catches your eye first?

🌼 From field to cup… and sometimes from bouquet to keepsake. 🌼

One thing I’ve always loved is flowers.

Most people know me for preserving sentimental flowers in resin, but I’ve always been fascinated by what nature gives us.

Today I picked some beautiful wild chamomile and I’m drying it in my dehydrator ready to make my own chamomile tea. 🌼☕

Ironically, it’s the very same dehydrator I sometimes use when drying flowers for preservation before they become lasting keepsakes.

I love learning new skills, whether it’s preserving memories in resin, growing my own food, making herbal teas, or simply spending time in nature.

There’s something incredibly rewarding about creating things from the world around us.

Do you grow or forage anything yourself? I’d love to know what you’ve been making lately. 🌿💛

🌿 A little behind the scenes update 🌿

I thought it was time to share a little update with you all, as I know many of you have been wondering how things are going.

Yesterday I had my 7th weekly chemotherapy treatment. The first five treatments were manageable, but since then it’s been a much tougher journey. I’ve had two hospital admissions, one chemotherapy session had to be cancelled, and now my oncology team have reduced my chemotherapy dose to help my body cope with the side effects.

It’s been an emotional decision because, like anyone going through treatment, you always want to feel you’re doing everything possible. My consultant has reassured me that this is the right thing to do, and we’ll keep reviewing everything each week.

One of the biggest challenges I’m facing now is neuropathy. My hands are becoming increasingly numb and weak, and for someone whose career depends on delicate craftsmanship, that’s incredibly frightening.

Many of you know every Luna Creations piece is handmade by me, from carefully preserving your flowers to sanding, polishing and finishing every keepsake by hand. Those finishing stages involve heavy equipment and require precision. Lately I’ve been dropping things more often, struggling to grip tools and finding everyday tasks like cooking and carrying things much harder than they used to be.

I’ve always wanted to be the one making every single piece myself, so accepting help has been difficult. Matt is now starting to learn parts of the process so he can support me where needed while I concentrate on the skilled work that only I can do. It’s not how I imagined this year, but it means Luna Creations can keep moving forward.

Despite everything, I’m not giving up.

When I’m well enough, I’m still working quietly behind the scenes. While my body won’t let me work at the pace I used to, I’ve been using the time to improve other areas of the business.

🌻 Updating my website.
🌻 Working on new marketing ideas.
🌻 Designing new brochures and business cards.
🌻 Planning for the future of Luna Creations.

It’s heartbreaking because I had so many plans for this year, and cancer has forced me to press pause on so many of them. But instead of standing still completely, I’m trying to use this season to build stronger foundations for when I’m able to return properly.

There have been positives too.

A couple of weeks ago I lost 3.3 kg in just one week, which was worrying. Since then, with lots of home, cooked food and determination, I’ve managed to gain weight again. It’s only around a pound so far, but I’ll happily celebrate every little victory.

My garden has become my therapy. My pumpkins are growing beautifully, my vegetables are thriving, and this weekend our incubator goes into lockdown ready for the chicks to (hopefully!) hatch. Those little moments remind me that growth still happens, even when life feels like it’s standing still.

To every single customer who has waited patiently, sent kind messages, recommended my work, placed an order, or simply continued to support my little business…

Thank you.

Your kindness has helped carry me through some incredibly difficult days, and I honestly don’t think you’ll ever know how much it means.

Luna Creations may be moving more slowly than usual right now, but every keepsake is still being created with the same love, care and attention that it always has been.

One little step at a time. 💚🌿✨

💜 A Personal Update 💜

This is a post I’ve been putting off writing for a long time.

Many of you will have noticed that my turnaround times have become much longer than usual, and I feel you deserve to know why.

Earlier this year I was diagnosed with breast cancer.

Since then I’ve had surgery and I’m now undergoing chemotherapy. So far I’ve completed five rounds of treatment, and unfortunately two of those resulted in hospital admissions due to severe reactions. It has been one of the hardest periods of my life, both physically and emotionally.

Luna Creations has always been a one person business. Every keepsake is made by me, by hand, with the love and care it deserves. I know many of the pieces I create hold precious memories, and I never take that responsibility lightly.

I care deeply about every single order.

Please know that I haven’t forgotten anyone. Every order will be completed. It is simply taking me much longer than I ever imagined because my body can only do what it is capable of whilst going through treatment.

I’ve realised something over the last few months. I cannot destroy my own health trying to meet expectations whilst I’m having chemotherapy. If I push too hard, I become too unwell to work at all.

So, for now, I’m taking each day as it comes. On the days I feel well enough, I’m in the workshop creating your keepsakes. On the difficult days, I’m allowing my body the rest it needs so I can continue this journey and return stronger.

I want to thank every single person who has shown me kindness, patience and understanding. Your messages and support have meant more than you’ll ever know.

Thank you for trusting me with your precious memories. I promise they are safe with me, and I will continue to create each one with the same care and attention that Luna Creations has always stood for.

Thank you for standing by me while I heal.

With love,

Claire 💜

❤️This resin bird was created using funeral flowers , petals that once stood beside love, loss, and remembrance. Each flower carries a story, a moment, a goodbye that was never really the end.

Birds have always symbolised the soul, freedom, and the journey between worlds. Preserving funeral flowers inside a bird feels like honouring that transition , love taking flight, held forever in light and form.

This isn’t just art.
It’s memory made tangible.
A way to keep close what the heart never lets go of.

For anyone grieving, this piece is a reminder: love doesn’t disappear, it transforms 🕊️✨ ゚viralシ
