Sophie & Lewis had the most brilliant day at Achnagairn Castle. A big celebration with over a hundred guests, all there to make it feel really special. Warm sunshine, loads of laughter, and just a genuinely lovely group of people.

Lewis even managed to surprise Sophie by arranging for their dachshund, Wilfred, to be the ring bearer.

It was one of those weddings where everything just felt easy and full of good energy.Always a pleasure to photograph days like this.

Christy and Mike travelled all the way from North Carolina to elope at with their two children, and what a day it turned out to be. As pilots, they chose the venue after discovering its private airstrip, which made things feel even more personal. A huge thanks to Euan for letting us borrow his plane as a backdrop and for the perfectly timed, unplanned flyby. With clear blue skies and calm conditions, it really was the perfect day for a wedding...... and a bit of flying! It was also a pleasure working with their celebrant, Kirsty Harding, who somehow managed to deliver a beautiful ceremony while keeping the little ones entertained.

Thank you both for having me along to capture your special day.

Kirstin & Enzo’s Assynt elopement. From the ruins of Ardvreck Castle to the white sands of Achmelvich Beach, their day was simple, relaxed, and surrounded by incredible scenery.

My first wedding of 2026 and what a way to start the year. Val & Graham travelled over from Seattle with their nearest and dearest to celebrate at Achnagairn Castle, and it was such a brilliant day. They were secretly hoping for snow, but we were treated to a dry, settled day instead – perfect for plenty of time outside and lots of relaxed photos. A proper Highland welcome for a lovely couple.

Thank you both for having me along to capture your special day.

For anyone new here, I’m Andy. I’m a wedding photographer based near Inverness, photographing weddings across the Highlands and Scotland since 2007.

I keep things relaxed and natural, focusing on real moments and real connections.

If you’re getting married in the Highlands (or somewhere beautiful in Scotland) and looking for a photographer, I’d love to hear about your plans.

Heather & Ewan’s wedding at Loch Ness Country House was a pleasure to photograph.

Such a lovely, friendly group of people, with Heather being local to Inverness and Ewan and his family travelling down from Shetland.

The whole day had a relaxed, easy-going feel, with plenty of laughs and a genuinely laid-back atmosphere.

It was one of those weddings where everything just flowed naturally, thanks to a fun and down-to-earth couple.

Thank you both for having me along to capture your special day.

Jayme and Kyle’s wedding at Dornoch Station Hotel was a lovely, intimate celebration with just around 20 guests. The day felt just right for them and it was a pleasure to spend time with their close family and friends. Everyone was so warm and welcoming, and I appreciated how they braved the cold for the family photos. Thank you both for having me along to capture your special day.
