We are taking a little break in June getting all our wooden stalls ready for the Cardiff Christmas Market this year. The next event we will be attending, by invitation, is the fantastic Cardiff Food and Drink Festival in Roald Dahl Plass and surrounding areas. Our red and white stalls will be in their usual place backing on to the railings, opposite the WMC, and you can view who will be joining us on our website www.craftfolk.com just click on July.
The Producers Fair and Farmers Market will have a host of stall holders, all offering a spectacular spread of quality produce. Meanwhile caterers will be cooking up a storm on the Street Food Piazza, where you can choose from a wide range of freshly prepared food.
Alongside the fantastic food and drink, the Bandstand will have a full programme of live music throughout the three days of the event.

Join us for our third event of the year in Cardiff Bay. Our red and white stalls will be there from Saturday 23 to Bank Holiday Monday 25 May. Our wooden stalls return to Working Street, from Thursday 7 to Saturday 16 May for our first event in the City Centre of 2026. We will be open from 10am to 5.30pm Monday to Saturday and from 10am to 4.30pm on Sunday. Not everyone is joining us for the full 10 days so if you are looking for a specific maker then please check out our website www.craftfolk.com (just click on May) where you can view everyone taking part.

Join us this weekend for the May Day Art and Craft Market in Cardiff Bay. Our stalls will be on the upper level of Roald Dahl Plass, opposite the WMC, from Saturday 2 to Monday 4 May. Our trading times are from 10am to 5.30pm each day. The participating exhibitors can be found at www.craftfolk.com

Just in case anyone was wondering we are currently firming up our 2026 events for this year. Some of our events need approval but as our City Centre events are subject to agreed planning permission we can tell you that the dates, for your diary, are as follows:

Cardiff Spring Festival
Thursday 7 to Saturday 16 May
Cardiff Summer Festival
Saturday 1 to Saturday 15 August
Cardiff Christmas Market
Thursday 12 November to Wednesday 23 December

As soon as our other events are confirmed, probably in February, everyone on our database will be emailed the Request for 2026 Event Application forms for their completion and return.

This form will also be uploaded to our websites for anyone to download.

As we enter into the final days of the Cardiff Christmas we would just like to remind everyone that some of our stalls will be closing on Sunday 21 December, with the remaining stalls closing on Tuesday 23 December. This is because we cannot physically dismantle 70 stalls in one night. Please see our map below for further details.

The 2025 Cardiff Christmas Market will be open from: Thursday 13 November to Tuesday 23 December Trading hours: Monday to Saturday 10am to 6pm with a late night to 7pm every Thursday in December and 10am to 5pm on Sundays

Many thanks to the exhibitors and visitors to the August Bank Holiday Art & Craft Market, our last event of the year in Cardiff Bay. We are now fully focused on continuing our planning for the 2025 Cardiff Christmas Market - too early to mention? Unfortunately, whilst it may be too early to mention the C word we have been working since February processing applications from exhibitors who wish to join us this year. So much so, that we were nearly full in early July, save for a few seven days slots in our non-taster locations. Although we do have a few more slots currently available in our taster location. If anyone was planning to apply to take part and still hasn't sent us the paperwork, or even requested our forms, then now is the time. Email [email protected]
