When a mysterious stranger walks into a pub claiming he’s killed his father, instead of being horrified, the locals make him a hero. Chaos, longing, and some very questionable decision-making follow.

Nicola Coughlan (Bridgerton), Éanna Hardwicke (The Sixth Commandment) and Siobhán McSweeney (Derry Girls) star in John Millington Synge’s darkly funny Irish classic, filmed live on stage at the National Theatre.
