The Terrace is situated a couple minutes stroll across the ring road from our sister pub The West Riding. Formally, The Old Turk has attracted and welcomed customers from the more alternative fringes of the region, hosting regular Rock, Metal, Goth and Punk nights. However after an internal refit and installation of a large covered outside terrace it is now a live events & private hire venue for a

ny event. Inside there is a capacity of 100 with a further 50 seats outside on the covered back terrace. With a full stage set up The Terrace is capable of being used for any music, speaking, performance or comedy event as well as a large screen projector for sporting or presentation needs. Available for any event from parties to filming, band practise to works events. With a great drinks selection The Terrace is an ideal venue for you to enjoy our live events or to book for your own use.

Interested in the music industry? We're working with CreativeScene to put together some music-related mentoring events for people aged 18-25 but we want to make sure we're offering what YOU want.

Want to be a DJ, promoter, gigging musician?... We want to know what support you want so we can create the right events.

We're running some drop in sessions at the West Riding Beerhouse (Dewsbury Train Station) over the next 3 Wednesdays 6-7pm. We'll even throw in a slice of pizza for your time!
