What a day to be travelling across Ireland. 🇮🇪

Today’s journey took us from Galway through the heart of Ancient Ireland, following in the footsteps of kings, warriors and saints. From the legendary Hill of Tara and the Stone of Destiny, where Ireland’s High Kings were once crowned, to the incredible passage tomb of Newgrange, built over 5,000 years ago and older than both Stonehenge and the Pyramids of Egypt.

We also passed the historic Slane Castle, standing proudly above the River Boyne and surrounded by centuries of Irish history, before continuing north to Belfast.

Days like these remind me just how special Ireland is. Incredible scenery, fascinating history and stories around every corner.

One of the best touring days of the year with wonderful guests and perfect conditions to explore this amazing island.

From a beautiful wedding celebration at the stunning Harvey’s Point Hotel to another unforgettable journey across Ireland… a busy day for the GS Chauffeurs Ireland team with both Mercedes vehicles out on the road. 🇮🇪💍🚐🚐

One vehicle had the pleasure of looking after the bridal party celebrating their special day at one of Donegal’s most iconic wedding venues, while our second vehicle was travelling from the breathtaking Giant’s Causeway to Dublin City with guests continuing their Irish adventure.

A pleasure today transferring the Phipps family from the iconic Giant’s Causeway to Dublin City as they continue their Irish adventure. 🇮🇪

From Mr & Mrs Avansato at the beginning… to John & Cheryl by the end of an unforgettable trip 🇮🇪☘️

It was an absolute pleasure spending time with John and Cheryl during their journey through Ireland.

Travelling from Belfast through Derry and along the west coast towards the beautiful Dromoland Castle, we shared not only the road but the stories, history and heritage that make Ireland so special.

One of the highlights of the trip was stopping at the grave of W. B. Yeats, where we had a great conversation with a local guide about Yeats, his fascination with Irish mythology, folklore and the spiritual side of Ireland. John and Cheryl said this became one of the highlights of their trip.

Another highlight for them was dinner the previous evening in Artis by Phelim O’Hagan in Derry, which they described as outstanding after taking up my recommendation.

Days like these remind me that this job is about much more than transport — it is about experiences, stories and helping guests discover the Ireland we know and love.
