It’s time to say goodbye Celtronic 🥀

This week marks the final ever Celtronic festival in Derry. A festival that has shaped the Derry scene for the last 25 years. Nothing used to beat the buzz spending the summer nights dancing to the best djs in the world surrounded by your friends and strangers, all on our own doorstep.

The joy of having a week ticket and collecting all the worn wrists bands for five days straight like a scruff, then spending the rest of the night in a backyard until the sun came up.

It’s been a real privilege to Dj at the festival every year since 2011, sharing the stage with the likes of , , , .rubinstein666 +++

There has been many golden moments, but the parties that stick out to us include :

Blawan, Pariah & SDC at Masons
DJ Hell at The St Columbs Hall
Bicep at The Gweedore
Carl Craig at The Nerve Centre
Move D at the Craft Village

Chic at The Venue

Special mention goes to Stewarty & the team for all the memories over the years, there will certainly be a void when they finally close the curtain on Sunday night.

Tonight at Sandinos Bar/Club, Dublin grime artist, Sello, makes his Derry debut at Outspoken alongside a crackin support lineup that includes Somedeadbeat, GRRD (BEKUZ) and B.M.C.

Dublin rapper SELLÓ makes his Derry debut at Féile 2024 at Sandino's on Tuesday August 13th.

SELLÓ is an Irish rapper known for his hit songs "Dublin," "Oggy," and "No Love". His debut mixtape, Sellótape, reached No.8 on the Irish Album Charts and held the number 1 spot on Spotify's charts for three consecutive weeks. In 2022, Selló was nominated for Irish Artist of the Year, Breakthrough Artist of the Year, and Track of the Year for "No Love" at the RTÉ Choice Prize Awards. SELLÓ aims to establish a new sound native Ireland called "GaelicDrill," which blends traditional Irish culture with modern drill, hip-hop, and drum and bass.

Somedeadbeat is Derry artist Jack Loughrey. His collaboration with Barry Can’t Swim ‘Deadbeat Gospel’ is one of this year’s biggest dance tracks and has led to somedeadbeat performing at Europe’s biggest festivals including Glastonbury, Montreux Jazz Festival and Roskilde.
