Did You Know?

A lot of people think DJing is just turning up and pressing play.

To be honest, it’s nothing like that.

Every crowd is different, and part of the job is reading the room. Sometimes you need to change direction completely because you can see people are ready for something different.

One night it might be Motown, the next it could be 90s, club classics or the latest chart music. There’s no magic playlist that works every time.

That’s one of the things I enjoy most about DJing – seeing the dance floor come alive when the right track comes on at the right moment.
